Martial Arts & Gender Conference

Here is the timetable for the 'Gender issues in theory in practice' martial arts studies conference at the University of Brighton on 5th February 2016!

The conference takes place at the Eastbourne Campus. Some of us have already booked into the Devonshire Park Hotel, Eastbourne. If you contact the hotel directly and say that you are coming for this event, they will give you a discount: bed and breakfast will be £60 per night.

If this is too expensive for you, there is no shortage of hotels in the same area of town (which is about 15 mins walk to campus and the conference).  Some of the cheaper options would be The Big Sleep, The Sheldon, The Mowbray and The West Rocks.  There's also a Premier Inn in the town centre – easy walking distance. We can't ' ecommend' any one of these in particular, but from a quick glance around a few booking websites they all seem reasonable.
