Talk on Wednesday: The Invention of Martial Arts

For anyone in Cardiff on Wednesday, I am giving a talk entitled 'The Invention of Martial Arts'. In this talk, I will be looking at the ways ideas of martial arts are invented and circulate in media and culture.

The talk takes place in the School of English, Communication and Philosophy (ENCAP) at 5pm in room 2.47 of the John Percival Building. It is part of the Cultural and Critical Theory (CCT) Research Seminar Series.

The website says: 'All teaching and research staff, postgraduates, undergraduates and other colleagues within the School are welcome to attend. The seminars are also open to the general public.'
